We’re “Extra”

Hi, I’m Stephanie Nace, founder of Frogleg Studio and I am “extra.” Extra in my attention to detail, originality and passion. With over twenty years as a design educator and even more as a practitioner, I’m deeply enthusiastic about working with students and clients to develop creative ideas. Our love for craftsmanship, typography, and illustration blend together in our letterpress work. Frogleg Studio is home to Christa, a 1910 American Type Foundry press by Challenge Machinery Company; Big Max, a Chandler & Price 10 x 15 press; Hey Franklin, an 8 x 12 Benjamin Franklin Gordon press and two small scale Kelsey presses. Together, we continue to explore the art of letterpress and unique design.

another holiday reveal. when you’re a graphic designer and your youngest son draws a logo, you clean it up a little and make him stickers for his packaging. #localhoney
finished these commissioned home illustrations for friends and friends of friends. they make a great personalized gift.
now i can reveal some personal work that i did for loved ones, chevy and chinnie weenie. both watercolors, both a surprise. they were well received.
